Few works today approach both 3D art and Cubist aesthetics in parallel—the avant-garde par excellence—with a sensibility that is at once vintage and futuristic. It is at this intersection that we encounter the work of Alpha Centauri.
The body of work presented in this publication leads us toward an aesthetic that could easily connect us to Cézanne—and even to Picasso himself—through retro gestures, including recognizable elements from the 1980s such as LEGO pieces, and through a projection aimed at the future, a time still unknown and without an identifiable aesthetic. The artist presents it, we believe, through a capacity for anticipation, intuition, and perceptive instinct inherent to her creative standing.

In her works, the appearance of human figures—male and female—with forms resembling interlocking pieces is recurrent, as are human silhouettes distorted in proportion, horses, birds, trees, clouds, and multiple staircases, along with what appear to be vertical constructions similar to buildings. We also identify domestic objects such as tables, chairs, and beds, which in some cases connect us to familiar, everyday environments. At the same time, clearly defined forms appear without a correlation that can be rationally identified. Here we can establish a link to the artist’s oneiric world, which she seeks to convey through her work.
The color palette tends toward warmth, with terracotta tones predominating, except for the presence of some cool colors used to depict the skies. As for textures, they often recall glossy acrylics and certain painted metal structures.
Art and crypto art, oneirism, playful activity, vintage aesthetics, distorted perspectives, and a sense of what lies ahead. These are just some of the visual elements and styles represented by Alpha Centauri, who proposes an art infused with a certain nostalgia, anchored in the present, and marked by an unmistakable gaze toward posterity—and, why not, toward the firmament that surrounds her.
