February marks the return of the renowned Berlinale, for which the global film community prepares year after year. This time, the jury was headed by the acclaimed Wim Wenders, who awarded Salvation (Grand Jury Prize), Queen at Sea (Jury Prize), and Everybody Digs Bill Evans (Best Director).

In the acting categories, Sandra Hüller was named Best Leading Performance, while Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall shared the award for Best Supporting Performance.

The iconic Golden Bear was awarded to Yellow Letters, by Turkish-German filmmaker İlker Çatak.
