Unlike previous editions, it moves away from a historical approach to highlight artists who are actively working today, with more than 90% of participants still alive and belonging to generations in their creative maturity. The more concise curatorial approach aims to give greater visibility to each work, prioritizing diverse practices such as installation, sculpture, performance, and interdisciplinary formats.

The edition is also defined by its geographic diversity, balancing artists from Western and non-Western regions, with a strong presence from Africa and Latin America. Participants include figures such as Alfredo Jaar, Carolina Caycedo, and Guadalupe Maravilla, alongside well-known names like Nick Cave and Carsten Höller. It also incorporates gender diversity and collective formats, reinforcing its role as a key platform for showcasing the voices shaping today’s global art scene.

The exhibition will open to the public on May 9 and will run through November 22, 2026.
