These are the requirements for digital ads running on topicamag.com. Our site is responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile, and content is updated regularly.
Time-sensitive creative: ads that reference a specific date or event can be removed after that date/event ends.
Creative guidance: keep layouts straightforward and attention-grabbing. All ads are subject to review and approval. If any copy is too small or difficult to read, we may request revisions or recommend removing text to ensure clarity.

To support high-definition displays, please supply creative files at 2× the standard ad-slot dimensions whenever possible. This lets us deliver noticeably sharper imagery on high-resolution screens.

Examples:

  • MPU: deliver 600 × 500 px.

  • Half Page: deliver 600 × 1200 px.

  • Billboard: deliver 2224 × 556 px.


If creating 2× (HD) files would cause the asset to exceed the maximum allowed file weight (1Mb), then do not use 2× dimensions. In that case, submit the creative at the standard 1× dimensions.

We recommend a font size no smaller than 9pt.

Border:

For artwork that has a white background please add a 2px line to the outer edge of the artwork.

Supply a URL for the banner to link to.

Deadlines:

Supply your artwork at least five working days prior to the live start date agreed.
